Connecting Fort Worth’s under-financed people & communities with flexible, patient CDFI financing.

Fort Worth’s Communities of Color Deserve Better.

CDFIs (Community Development Financial Institutions) provide customized, patient financing and technical support to small business owners, affordable housing developers, nonprofits, consumers, and commercial real estate developers in historically under-financed communities. Until now, CDFIs were not focused on Fort Worth.

CDFI Friendly Fort Worth is working to bring at least $250 million in CDFI financing to our city over the next five years to finance minority and women business enterprises (MWBE), homeownership, affordable rental housing, consumers, developers, nonprofits, and more.

CDFI Friendly Fort Worth is community-centered and community-controlled.

More financing options help communities thrive.

Increasing CDFI financing in Fort Worth will create opportunities, inclusion, and wealth for historically under-financed entrepreneurs, homeowners, renters, businesses, developers, and contractors.

CDFI Friendly Fort Worth Team

CDFI Friendly Fort Worth is an independent, not-for-profit organization that exists solely to match CDFIs to financing needs in Fort Worth. Our organization is guided by a community-centered Board and led by Executive Director, Glenn Forbes.
